Privacy Policy (VIETV)
This Privacy Policy explains how VIETV (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the VIETV streaming management service (the “Service”).
What this Service does
The Service helps you configure and manage streaming destinations (including YouTube) and create/manage YouTube live broadcasts using Google/YouTube APIs when you choose to connect a Google account.
Information we collect
Service account & usage
- Basic account/session information required to authenticate you to the Service.
- Operational logs (e.g., timestamps, errors) for reliability and security.
Google / YouTube data (only if you connect Google)
If you connect a Google account, we may access and store:
- OAuth tokens (access and refresh tokens) to call YouTube APIs on your behalf.
- Basic profile info returned by Google (e.g., name, email, profile picture), depending on granted scopes.
- YouTube data needed to provide the features you use, such as channel details, live stream resources (including RTMP ingestion address and stream key), broadcast/event IDs, and broadcast status/metrics (e.g., lifecycle status, concurrent viewers, watch/studio URLs).
Scopes requested: email, profile, https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.force-ssl.
How we use information
We use the information to:
- Provide and operate the Service features you request (including YouTube API actions).
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues.
- Improve reliability and performance.
We do not sell your personal information.
Sharing of information
We share information only as necessary to operate the Service:
- With Google/YouTube API Services when you use YouTube features (API calls made using your OAuth tokens).
- With infrastructure/hosting providers as needed to run the Service.
Google API Services User Data Policy (Limited Use)
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide or improve user-facing features that you explicitly use, and not for advertising or data brokerage.
Data retention
We retain data only as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate operational/security purposes. Google/YouTube OAuth tokens are retained until you disconnect the Google account (or delete related integration data), unless retention is required for security/compliance.
Disconnecting Google / deleting tokens
You can disconnect a connected Google account from the Service. When disconnected, stored OAuth tokens and associated connection data are deleted/removed from the Service (subject to operational/security needs).
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect data. No system is 100% secure, but we work to prevent unauthorized access.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time by posting an updated version with a new effective date.
